Uploading my art journey on youtube and this inspired me to keep going.

I'm going to make a video today. My first video. I've been wanting to for a long time and have even tried but scrapped it because I thought it wasn't good(and editing was taking so long lol). But I'm going to make AND publish it. I'll be back to tell you how it goes.

About a year ago. I was kinda losing my mind. I didn't know what my purpose was, what I was gonna do or why I was doing what I was doing. I had a problem of starting a new game project, being invested for like 5 months and then losing all interest. I think I had just had enough of the insanity of starting a project, trashing a project and then doing it all over again because one day. I just suddenly started writing pages of ideas down. Selected ones that I liked and started making a game with the mindset of "I am going to finish this game no matter what obstacles come up.". It wasn't so original. But I didn't care. Over the next year. I was just working on this one project, sometimes working on it for 8 hours straight. I had for once the motivation to work on something for a year. And so now, I am so close to releasing the first public version of this game. Just 10 days and I'll meet my deadline which is not a lot of time. But I've come too far to give up, and I will fucking finish it. So, thank you for making this video. UA-cam needs more people like YOU.

This video may honestly make me want to do my speedpaints again.. i really enjoyed those and timelapses.. i dont get a lot of views so i figured nobody cared about what I like to do.. But i want to get back in touch with that. Even if it's something im hyperfixating on heavily.

The other day I was thinking about when did UA-cam start to become a platform for making money, instead of simply a way to share videos you enjoyed making with everyone who might enjoy it, too. It has become this massive competition for people’s attention and advertisers’ money. Sure, the video quality has gone up because of that, but it has also lost the charm of a funny homemade video. I never like doing stuff just for the money. Having created something and putting it out in public is its own reward for me. If the algorithm rewards it with views, good, if not, I’ll still feel good that I created something.

I appreciate this video you made. This is the first vid I watched by you and instantly felt a connection as if we were already friends. I fuck with that! You give off very comforting energy, kinda similar to Dr. K. I’m glad there’s people like you out there. Keep it up! :)

Man, could you give me some advice? I've decided to start a Minecraft youtube channel in the last 2 weeks or so. And I've been working pretty hard and trying to get better with each video. But now I'm not sure if I should keep the channel in Portuguese (my native language) or if I should simply leave it and create an English one from stretch (I don't have the energy to have two) At the same time that I wouldn't like to waste all the time I've invested in the 5-ish videos I've published so far I also feel my CoNtEnT could be more appreaciated if I was talking to an English audience (broader audience) What do you think? I'm in a dark spot right now, totally unmotivated, I'd appreaciate some advice, thank you in advance.

I grow up in the 90th and was always fascinated about 3D. Years later I found out about Blender (a free 3D software suit) and tried a tutorial with the current version 2.6 or 2.8 back then. It was a block figure with some simple animation. After that I did nothing, because I had no ideas. Some years ago, a desire grow, a idea to make a tutorial videos about a mode in a video game and with that in mind I got other ideas. For that I could use Blender, creating images and music videos about my favourite video games. I started to learn using Blender last year, until shit in real life happened, but try to continue it this year. I am at the last two videos from Blender Guru's donut tutorial (it took me some months) and started another small random project just as practice. Tomorrow I must finally write down the many ideas that pop up over the last years to not forget them until I have the skill to make them reality and also to have a basic to flesh them out or simplify them that I can finish them in time and not years. Also my biggest problem, too many UA-cam videos and writing to long comments under UA-cam videos. 😜

Sorry but Vegeta has become stronger than Goku on multiple occasions. From their very first fight, he was already stronger than him. Chronologically, he also reaches 3rd Grade SSJ before Goku reaches 4th. Most recently, he's stated to have defeated Goku during the Super Hero Arc.

I needed this. Im an artist. And have been going for years. But over those years Ive struggled to find my space. I have been streaming for about 8 years as well. Drawing live fir people to see, but mostly on smaller sites as my content is often too spicy for Twitch. It can hurt sometimes to just be making art to an audiance of no one sometimes, especially when you have hopes of slowly replacing a bad job with the job you are passionate about. But whenever I feel like giving up, one of my friends pops into stream, or now that Im doing SFW art streams on twitch I keep meeting new people who just are just excited to see art, to talk about their art, and my heart is... Its hard to describe. Its this fullness, this completeness... Passion meeting other passion. Excited creativity meeting creativity. I think this vid is my new push... I have things I wish to expand into. To take my art to. Animation, game design. Here's to a year of tripping and falling as gracefully as I can.

I always felt that I could never make it as a musician, because the more popular you get the stronger the pull to make stuff that people want to hear from you, the more you conform and the more you stray away from the music that’s uniquely you. The music that’s in your heart. I know it sounds cheesy but it’s true, I always feel like there’s a tune or composition that echoes throughout my being, but every time I get down to writing it, feelings of worthlessness and how nobody would want to listen to your music just seep out into the forefront. Soon enough your pen just stops before it hits the paper, and you forget why you’re even there in the first place. You look around you, social media or UA-cam music, desperately trying to find a melody that fills that void, but each time you’re just reminded of the true self that you abandoned that you can’t even hope to remember. Sorry for this being so long, I’d just thought I’d leave a genuine opinion for once, since you left me with a yours. This’s pretty much where I am at in my life right now, so sorry if it didn’t have a happy ending or had any loose ends tied up. But I just wanna say that this video had an impact on me as great as any Dr.K video. Thanks a lot

Fuck, I'm almost crying. I'll ramble for a bit, sorry if it's incoherent, English is not my first language. I'm in the rut currently, because I think I lost that something. That young spark, that determination to do things I want, that belief that I can do what I dream of. Most of the days I feel like I'm going through the motions and while I'm playing games that I like to play, they don't give me what I want of them. I just play them to play them, because I'm used to that. Now I feel some warmth inside of me rekindled (it's not a full flame yet, but it's a good start), that I didn't feel for a while. I want to stream, I want to do let's plays, I want to make games, I want to learn new stuff. It may be weird, but I'm really thankful that Al Gore's Rhythm made me watch this video, and thank you for making me and other people rediscover that there are things to dream about and things to do.

Ive posted some artwork that I'm really proud months ago and never touched it since. Seeing a lot of people like them and follow me is very endearing, but there is just a voice at the back of my head saying what I make aren't good enough.
